Observations

Hasty pit in multiple areas of slope showed new wet/heavy snow or wind transported snow were not bonding well approximately 8-12" down (note: did not conduct full pit observation or extended column tests). No observed shooting cracks, avalanches, or movement during ski movements. Mazama ridge, west facing slope, near tree line / at tree line, approx 6700' elevation.
