Steep and deep in the crystal backcountry. Large fridge size cornices were very easy to kick off, picture series of one of the smaller cornices I kicked off.
1-2 ft of snow was generally dry, stable, upright and well bonded to the underlying crust on northerly aspects. No wind slabs were observed despite very large cornices.
