Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

under powerline, on west slope. 20 degrees slope. about 5000ft. heavy wet fresh snow about 6-8in deep. lines in picture show change in snow/ice crusts. total snow depth about 270cm. very hard to break new snow to first crust slab, hard, multiple taps to shovel(2nd picture where glove is). after that, Repeated jumping did not break any other layer
