Observations

Observations made during Level 1 AIARE course. Mellow terrain traveled to allow for low-risk teaching environment. Our objectives during the course of the day kept us in terrain where risks were low, but we maintained a keen eye in order to observe potential hazards. Not fun digging through the Christmas Crust!

Pit dug on W. facing slope (~3000') resulted in CTH and DTM around 75cm, perhaps a Mid November layer. Non-planar break (Q2, possibly Q3).
