Observations

Traveled up Newton Creek ridge. Pit dug on east facing aspect at around 6000ft, Slope angle was 35, Storm started rolling in around 2pm. Because we got an ECTP21 we decided to come down the west facing slope back to the HRM parking lot instead of taking a lap on the east facing slope. . The west face was 4-6 inches of fresh powder on top of crust and was variable throughout the way down.
