Observations

Observed shooting cracks on isolated N facing wind slabs around 4200’ elevation.

Also observed 8-10” storm slabs building in size into the afternoon in well protected areas near tree line.

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 
Wind Slab
Comments: 
N side of Tom dick & harry, 4,200’ elevation. Isolated pockets of windslab 12”-18” deep, many shooting cracks and whumphing
Observed Avalanche Problem #2: 
Storm Slab
Comments: 
8”-10” thick storm slabs on N aspects in protected near tree line areas
