No observed avalanches or shooting cracks, but significant wind loading of 1-2 inches above tree level was observed. The packed top layer easily broke free from the rest of the snow pack on south facing aspects as observed by several hand-pits. Large gusts of wind carried snow from the gullies and lower basin.

Wind gusts brought snow from the higher peaks into gullies.

Wind effected snow was observed throughout the pineapple pass area, but most notably on the south facing aspects.
