Broke a small slab on wind loaded NE edge of the gully, ran approx 100ft. Surprised by how far it ran on the surface hoar. Estimated 4 to 6 inch slab.

Traveled along hogsback ridge at 6500ft. Broke a small slab on wind loaded NE edge of the gully between first and second bowl descending on skis. Surprised by how far it ran on the surface hoar. Away from wind loaded ridge tops found ~6inches of dry unconsolidated snow on top of firm base. Surface from 6500 to 5000ft, east and north aspects
