Headed up to illumination saddle with intent to climb the Reid headwall/ski leutholds. Was setting up for a belated ski cut when I observed new avalanche debris at the base of the headwall/couloir. Strong SE (estimated 60+mph) gusts were experienced at illumination saddle along with significant snow transport. Skinned across several small but unreactive patches of wind slab.
