Observations

We skied Maggie's Backside, Lost Bowl, and Super Bowl and stayed in north and northwest-facing aspects as much as possible. Snow generally very good. We did see some cracks develop near our skin track and found presence of significant icy layer about 12-15 inches below the current surface that was likely from the Christmas rain event.

Observed inconsistent snow coverage - windward ridges bare in spots and creeks at 5000' vicinity open after the rain event and many areas where there was more snow needed.

We avoided corniced areas generally on west side of ridges and noted wind scouring/drifting on the ridges.

We noted an photographed slide debris likely related to the Christmas rain event in the Glades area toward the Hurricane Ridge road.
