Observations

Skied aspects facing southwest, south, southeast, east and northeast off Platinum Peak. Cold, well bonded snow found everywhere except on southern aspects particularly below a notable transition line around 6K', where snow quickly transitioned from cold relatively unconsolidated snow to wet gloppy snow and wet loose activity was readily triggered on steep slopes & rollovers.

Rollerballs and small wet loose slides observed on due south aspects in Cement basin; most things that were shaded for at least a portion of the day appeared to hold up well.
