Observations

Beautiful day at Blewett Pass. Cold and clear in the morning. The medium-density snow above the crust from last Friday was noticeably drier from faceting - something to keep an eye on when we get new snow on top. Skied NE facing slope up to the mid-30s. Snow still seemed well-bonded to the crust and there were no signs of reactive wind slab (despite obvious signs of wind redistribution and wind-board ski conditions). Sunny all day and around 32F when we returned to the car at 1 pm.
