Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

East aspect. 3400 ft. After clear ski last night, 2 cm hoare frost on top of hard icy crust. Setting up potential weak layer if buried.
Pinwheels of wet loose visible from 12/31/2022.
Hard freeze of night of 12/31 healed wet issues. No softening on east aspect throughout day of 1/1 despite sun.
