Dropping a gully just west of Silver Twin I triggered a significant D2 avvy on the storm slab that took me over a small cliff band and accumulated down on the apron. Air bag deployed after going for a long and unpleasant ride.Observed Avalanches

We dug hand pits and did ski cuts but the instability surprised us - any convexity would slide
