Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

25-30cm of new snow on top of the Christmas rain crust. This ice lens is stout and steep rollovers don't provide any guarantee of edgeable bite.

Wind transport picked up in the pm on ridgelines BTL.
Four storm slab crowns on one NW slope around 3600', all breaking on new - old interface to 20cm. SS-N-R1-D1

Westerly winds building shallow slabs on leeward (easterly) ridgelines and scouring down to within a few cm of the Christmas crust on west.
