Observations

Toured up standard route to welldigger's ass with easy travel. Scouring and hard slab traversing Burnt trees on S/SSE open slope. Ski'd 35-40 degree trees with generally good stability. Stout crust 10-20 CM down depending nature of wind effected drifts. Skin back up presented difficulty at 4500-4700 ft from icy conditions and a few spots where it was not bonded; slid out of skin track numerous times. Ski'd north slope back to car ~30 deg; Much less coverage with crust 5-10 cm down making for some selective turns. On lower angles, float of boards and ski's made for some fun turns. Snowfall and winds picked up throughout the day.
