Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
No

Observations

We dug a hand pit and noticed a 12in. planar fracture in the column, on top of the pre-storm crust. Then we continued skinning up the windloaded slope a little, where we triggered an isolated crack and a small wind slab broke. There were no other signs of instability where we skied (Phantom Trees).
