Observations

Skied the Snowshed face—we started at the Lake Annette sno park and broke trail via the closed road, then cut through the trees to the snowshed, then went up through lots of alder and fluffy snow. We noticed a few small cracks when putting in the skintrack, but they didn't propagate or react to test jumps. Winds were very low all day, and we didn't see any wind affected snow from the previous night's high winds. Transitioned at around 3500 feet and had great skiing on the way down—a bit of a crust under the top few inches of fluffy snow was noticeable around 2600 feet, but nothing reactive, still felt very solid.

Skinning up through a more open section of alder. Our transition point was up in the top clump of trees in the right center of the frame.
Looking down from our transition point around 3500 feet. Noticed a few rollerballs throughout the day, but nothing concerning.
