Observations

Travelled in serpentine BTL terrain of the middle Wenatchee Watershed on NE, N, aspects to 2800'. Main observation: rimed surface hoar, surface hoar, and facets cap the snowpack throughout the zone. A fresh load of snow this week and incoming winds should test these layers' mettle.

Snowing S1 at turn around time with light winds gusting to moderate. Sun above and east of the storm deck. Temps high teens to low 20s F.
