Comments:
Observed crown of what looked like a natural triggered avalanche on the West face under Mazama ridge. Start zone was just under trees near ridge and runout to valley bottom.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Noticed the crown across the valley skinning out on the road back to Paradise.

Other observations:
- wind was howling above pan face, making snow drift onto southern slopes
- Generally noticed lots of surface hoar today on all aspect
