Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

We didn't observe any signs of instability. Some quick tests and pits didn't reveal the 12/8 layer on east facing slopes. We found surface hoar on many aspects in abundance, resulting in "loud pow", we also found a number of sun crusts including one breakable crust making for challenging skiing conditions on a south facing slope.
