Observations

Dug pit on Tom, Dick and Harry ridge in an area that faced SW but seemed protected from sun and wind - low angle slope. Column test showed two very clean, complete failures at 45cm and 60cm after impact by hand swinging from the shoulder. Those layers were very shallow and could not be seen on the face of pit - some feathery snow on the chunks.
