We toured over Kendall knob and east to
Kendall Peak, skiing laps into both commonwealth and coal cr drainages. I dug numerous handpits along our route in search of buried surface hoar I’d seen earlier in the week at similar elevations east of Steven’s, however I only identified 2-4mm buried surface hoar in one pit at 5100ft on a south facing slope above Kendall Peak lakes. Hand shear was Q2 at the interface of new, resistant wind-slab and what was likely early Dec storm.
