North facing open slope off Hogback Mountain approximately 200 wide 250ft long and a crown from 1 to 2 feet

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

A skier made 2 turns off the ridge when the slab released and ran full distance carrying him to the bottom with no injuries. Seeing the fracture from a distance and people probing I hurried over and was relieved to find out they were looking for a missing ski.
