Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Traveled by snowshoe to High Hut on a day with high avalanche danger. Route is all on roads and tops out at 4760

Surprisingly warm temps, snow line was around 4,000'. Wet, gloppy, heavy mashed potatoes snow at all elevations. Some signs of wind loading near High Hut, which is on top of a ridge and somewhat exposed. Below 4,000' there was rain, tree bombs and slushy snow.
