Signs of Unstable Snow

We headed up towards Pineapple pass, snow below and at tree line has settled a lot and has become pretty heavy since the weekend. Up in great Scott bowl snow was still quite heavy, even on north aspects. We didn’t see any evidence of wind transport lower down in the bowl, but visibility was very bad. Winds were calm and it was snowing lightly throughout the morning. Coverage is still fairly thin, especially with holes from boulders and creeks in the area, which was the greatest hazard that we observed today.
