Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Lots of early season hazard, mostly scantly covered and exposed rock and partially buried trees. The snow was dry and deep, easily transported. All N facing faces remained frozen while S and E faces got wet and heavy w warmer temps.

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 
Cornice
Comments: 
On the prominent ridge, size small, high likelihood since it is adjacent to the traverse line and above desirable ski terrain.
Observed Avalanche Problem #2: 
Wet Loose
Comments: 
Evidence of old wet loose on SE faces. None on N faces.
