The snowpack seemed generally very stable at the beginning of the tour, but with snow consistently falling and significant wind, slabs started to form over the course of the morning/afternoon. We found one isolated spot that seemed to be above a pit that had been dug that day that had a pronounced shooting crack. Otherwise, there was just a lot of snow which produced a decent amount of sluff while skiing, but nothing majorly unstable. The biggest concern was that visibility was very low.
