Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

11/29. Snow coverage improving, able to find some good skiing. snowing lightly throughout day and heavier later afternoon. Assessed snow pack at 6500 ft. 115 cm depth. 25 cm of low density snow above two crust layers, 10 cm apart. Compression tests reactive on these crust layers, no propagation observed. Deeper crust half way through the snowpack. Some wind affect higher up, but no other activity observed.
