Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Snow very soft and deep, postholing even in snowshoes last mile to the summit; approached on winter route; very soft not enough snow yet in the avalance shoot to feel vulnerable, more risk of falling rocks/icicles and med-large snow boulders in the narrow parts of the chute with cliff overhang
- descended summer route; more open snowfields here are very soft and sun-exposed, felt much less comfortable and kept to the shaded rocky perimter on the way down

Media

360 from the summit; conditions in close proximity to summit more stable, snow much more firm/icy
looking generally south at summit from winter route
descending summer route looking back at summit; about 1/3 of the way down
