Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Toured up the resort, through silver basin, & up to the top of the king via the south/backside face. Didn't see any signs of instability. However, the temperature inversion was quite noticeable - very cold in the trees & much warmer as we approached the top of the king.

The terrain above the valleys was variable - found really nice pockets of snow on the north side of the King, but the bottom portion was quite wind affected & thin. The best snow of the day was in the north facing trees!
