There is one short stretch of trail on the way to/from Putrid Pete's Peak that is noticeably steeper than others. It's above treeline but before you get onto the ridge. Looking at Caltopo, it seems to be at about 4200, but it might be higher than that. Anyway, during my descent - around 5PM - I triggered a handful of wet loose slides on that steep slope. None very wide, but one did pick up some snow and get pretty far down the mountain below me. Do not think it would have been big enough to harm a person in its path but, thankfully, did not have the opportunity to test that hypothesis.
I could also see and hear occasional slides on the steep slopes of West Defiance to both sides of the ridge up Putrid Pete's Peak. I did not take any pictures or video of my own slides (though I could have, in retrospect, because they were fairly predictable), so I'll include some images of those very active slopes.
