Observations

We did the classic east ridge ski route. Was sunnier than we expected with the forecast. There were D1 wet loose avalanches on sun exposed, steeper aspects between 4,000-7,000 feet. Below steep cliffs on the boulder fields at ~4600 feet there were two D1/D2 slides that occurred earlier in the day. Steeper cliffs at higher elevations were also shedding. We dropped from the summit around 12:30 and riding was heavy throughout and became a wet loose slushy in the boulder fields between 4-5,000 feet.
