Observations

Sat in the clouds at the top of the White Salmon until these lifted. Skied down without incident besides some small wet slides. Terrible ski conditions until valley bottom where it became more consolidated. Our snowpack is in the mush and shed cycle and will need a few weeks without more water/snow to drain and turn into proper spring conditions. Chatted briefly with a solo skier who skied the NW couloir and described it as "breakable crust" and "not good"--we could see a lot of debris in the bottom and large runnels.
