Started out around 10 am the snow was pretty crunchy with some surface hoar. By around 11 the sunny areas were starting to get soft and by our 12 pm descent the snow was getting very soft. We saw a large chunk of cornice that had fallen off up along one of the ridges that was definitely intact when we started the tour.
Overall, fun spring conditions, but the warm up on Sunday was fast and would have been a little scary skiing past noon on anything other than low slope angle.
