Observed fresh debris from many wet loose slides D1-D2.5 in Eldorado Basin and the boulder field area below as rapid warming and sun exposure hit. Naturally triggered. The largest one apparently went right after we descended and was observed by another party.
None reported
Summited Eldorado Peak on skis on Saturday 4/23. Heard a large slide off in the distance while we were on the summit around 1:30pm. Observed many wet loose slides D1-D2.5 on the descent in Eldorado Basin (SE aspect) as rapid warming and sun exposure heated things up. Boulder field is now filled with wet loose debris. Triggered one smaller wet loose traversing. No incidents. Sorry the photos are kinda meh and don’t show the bigger ones but you get the idea.
