Comments:
A seemingly small amount of snow fell off a cliff on chair peak triggering a D3 wet loose avalanche in the snowfield below. This avalanche then luckily fanned out into two directions upon hitting a knoll where 5 uphill skiers and one dog were standing - myself included. Nobody was harmed.
This avalanche came in really fast and without warning to those underneath it. A party near source lake shouted, warning everyone in the path.

Snow had been falling off tall south facing aspects all day. Temperature was higher than expected.
There was also a large debris pile under bryant couloir that seemed to have slid earlier that day.
