Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

We left the parking lot at 7:45am and immediately encountered very firm, refrozen snow. Once we made it out of the trees it was about 9:30am and the sun was out & strong. The snow was clearly shedding off of the steep/ rocky southerly aspect. There was some wind buffed snow up high and we skied off the top at 1:00pm - encountering a few rollers on the ski down.
