Tree bombed triggered dry loose. Tiny.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

At 3700' elevation 70cm of storm snow on the springlike base. 220 cm total snowpack depth. Right side up. No results from informal column tests.

Media

Tree bombs were the biggest threat today.  One dropped close by causing a surprisingly substantial gust.
By no means a proper pit.  Right side up dry on consolidated wet.
