Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Instability on South aspect (see map location and photo). Approx. six inches of new snow on top of thin crust released very easy from skin track. Many of these small sluffs occurred during our up track between 3800ft to 4200ft elevation.

Instability from skin track South aspect on approach from Alpental to Chair Peak about 4000ft.
