Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Skinned up to Pineapple Basin around 5pm and skied a couple of laps from the East shoulder of the bowl down to Source Lake. The snow and wind had stopped by that time and there were no signs of instability on the way up or down. Dug a few deeper hand pits on NE aspects and found 2-3’ of unconsolidated storm snow on an extremely saturated layer. It made for some fine skiing.
