Observations

Skinned from Silver Star Sno Park along Silver Star Creek, up to approximately 6,400' below Vasiliki Ridge. Firm conditions in the morning, softened up below 5,000' in the afternoon. Observed widespread wet loose debris, and some pinwheels that exceeded 1 foot in diameter. Snow conditions varied from firm and wind-scoured, to wind-loaded more than 6" deep. Observed isolated shooting cracks in wind-loaded terrain, and triggered small (1-3" in diameter) pinwheels while descending in the afternoon.

Widespread recent wet loose debris (D1.5), likely from the prior week. Observed pinwheels that exceeded a foot in diameter.
