Observations

Today had it all- snow, rain, clouds and sunshine. Tried for Cocaine Couloir but it was full of firm and chunky avalanche debris. We decided to tour up climber's left to the ridge. Snow at lower elevations was wet and sticky. It got distinctly drier at about 5400'. Between 2-4" fresh at upper elevations.
A few small rollerballs observed on the uphill, and isolated "dinnerplate" cracks on the skin track.
Spotted a few cornices along the south ridge of Snoqualmie as well as a couple up on the west face of Red.
