Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

We observed multiple aspects up to 5000’ on the upper North slopes. Mostly moist surfaces even on shaded aspects. Snowpack very saturated in the afternoon, especially below 4500’. We investigate the early March crust looking for facets. @5000 on N aspect above the north slopes. HS 400cm. Resistant results in compression and deep compression. PST 100/100 down 85 cm 3/8 crust. No facets observed above the crust - moist grains / appeared to be rounds / rounding.
