Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

A quick look-see at the pass just before 4pm, right as precip returned. At pass-level, surface snow was heavy/soggy. Boot-pen on groomers was 5-10 cm.

Looking around the pass, almost all avalanche activity was loose-wet in character, with a propensity toward rollerballs at lower elevations. The only exception was a minute windslab (not pictured in the photos) on the west side of Kendall that pulled out sympathetic to a point-release.
