Cut a small slope at 4700ft at 1:20pm after noting increasingly sticky and reactive layer in the top few inches. D1 ran about 100ft, farther than expected, and involved the top 2-4" of sticky snow.

Observations

Snow was sticky all day but similar aspects/elevations were not seen to be reactive before about 1pm, but quickly became reactive. The layer was easy to trigger on anything over ~35deg in the area. Very large rollerballs were noted.
