Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

While on snowshoe rove of the Skyline Trail at Paradise, Mt Rainier National Park, to Myrtle Falls Bridge, spotted numerous debris fields from avalanches that probably occurred last week when the park experienced heavy rain and warming temps. Spotted one large debris field on the east side of Alta Vista, several debris fields within Paradise Valley, below Paradise Valley Road, and one large debris field below east Skyline near Golden Gate Trail. Pictures show snowshoe hikers near the Alta Vista debris field, and the Paradise Valley debris fields.
