None reported

Observations

We entered the woods at mile marker 15 and skinned to 500' or so below the Mount Angeles summit. Cramponed to the summit. Rope not required. Skinning conditions were 4-8 inches of powder over firm crust. Some slide outs when side hilling, but stable beyond that. Still quite thin snow cover on the ridge lines.

Comments:
Small areas of wind distributed snow, though we saw no signs of instability beyond some small rollerballs in a few areas.
