Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
No

Observations

A few small shooting cracks and non-propagating or reactive slab chunkiness right along the edge of the western ridge (NE-aspect) of Tom Dick & Harry mid-afternoon of a mostly overcast, intermittently precipitating (snow and later graupel at summit proper) finale to a great colder storm system. Ski cut a few safe/contained rollovers on the ascent up the ridge without reaction beyond small slab chunks. Spotter-skied lowish-angled (low 30s deg) north-facing lines late afternoon without any concerning indicators beyond fairly deep (1-2’) soft new snow.
