Took a lift bump and exited crystal near the beach. Skied southwest face down to Crystal lakes then toured east into the next basin via the saddle south of three-way. Skied southwest and east facing slopes only and traveled via low angle terrain.
Found cross loading on the top of the southwest face above crystal lake, but drifts were soft and unreactive. Other wind drifts we encountered on ridges and behind terrain features were also soft and unreactive. Storm snow was mostly unconsolidated except for the west face of three-way as we were exiting which was a bit more slabby. That was the only west facing slope we skied. Main danger where we were on Sunday seemed to be long and fast running sluffs - but with more snow it could be more touchy Monday.
Sidehilling was tough in places due to unsupportive storm snow and very slick bed surfaces.
